Available Grants

Applications are now being accepted for the Economic Development Administration (EDA) Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Recovery Assistance grant program. $1.5 billion is available for economic development assistance programs to help communities prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus. All areas are eligible, and grants provide up to 80% funding. EDA’s CARES Act Recovery Assistance acts as a supplement to and follows the same guidelines as EDA’s FY 2020 Public Works and Economic Adjustment Assistance Notice of Funding Opportunity. Applications should demonstrate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and must be consistent with the NEFCO Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis until September 30, 2022.
